DESCRIPTION:Dust off those résumés. In lieu of a member meeting this month, PEN has decided to join forces with the Minnesota Book Publishers Roundtable (MBPR) to sponsor a freelancer fair in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This free in-person event will give freelancers in the publishing industry a chance to connect with local Minnesota publishers and related organizations.
Please note that this is a networking event, not a job fair. Publishers will not be hiring on the spot, but it will be a good opportunity to make connections with organizations in the publishing industry looking to grow their talent pools.
How to Register
All freelancers in the publishing industry (editors, designers, fact-checkers, proofreaders, indexers, etc.) are invited to attend. Please register in advance if you are able so we can plan for numbers. There will be an opportunity to walk in and register the day of the event if needed.
