I majored in English because I love to read, but I found my passion in my editing minor. I can talk Jane Austen and Beverly Cleary with equal enthusiasm and will press books into readers’ hands at every opportunity. Raised in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, I now call the Pacific Northwest home. I live with my husband, three kids, and more books than I have room for.
I believe in the power of good story. Stories form the bedrock of our humanity, and I want to help you tell yours.
I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in English and editing. My editing courses covered everything from grammar and usage to an in-depth course on the Chicago Manual of Style, substantive editing, and production editing.
I’ve spent time editing and proofreading for the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship, BYU Publications and Graphics, and the New Era magazine. Since taking my career freelance, I’ve done work with independent authors, academic authors, Harvard Business Publishing, and the More Good Foundation.
