In 2015 I began my editing career on a small team where I wore all the hats, from making the initial pitch through to final proofreading. Since then I've specialized in the detail-oriented end stages of the editing process: line editing, copy editing, and proofreading.

I give each sentence, each word, each comma the attention it deserves. My approach is flexible and centered on the needs and goals of the client: I'm here to buff and polish, not to flatten your voice.

My particular passion is for speculative fiction, especially horror. Some clients worry that an editor will be uncomfortable with gore, dark subject matter, or erotica, so I'd like to reassure you that I'm happy to work on fiction containing such themes. I also have experience in editing fiction in translation, which has the added difficulty of remaining true to the source text.
