I’m a wordaholic and love working with clients to make their finished writing product the best possible. I've been helping clients improve their writing pieces and books since 2012. It's important to me to use my detail-oriented skills to edit to a client’s desired level—proofreading, copyediting, or line editing, while ensuring that a client's voice and ideas remain intact. My specialties include spotting discrepancies, updating passive language to active language, finding the right word replacement, and reorganizing sentences and paragraphs to create a more cohesive writing piece.

Editing is a collaborative process between the writer and the editor. I ask questions for clarity, when needed, and deliver an edited product that has a strong structure, flow, and logic, as well as correct grammar and punctuation. This results in a polished piece—your words and ideas—enhanced by my attention to detail.

I offer a free, four-page edit so you can see if my editing style meets your project needs. My editing is completed in Microsoft Word Track Changes, so you can see your original work and the edit improvements. I also provide two document versions: an edited version showing the original document marked up with changes, and an all changes accepted version so you can see the new, clean copy.

Additionally, to ensure your books and/or business materials represent something you will be extremely proud of, I can connect you with other business professionals. This includes book cover designers, book formatting specialists, marketing experts, photographers, website designers, printers, and publishers. I can also recommend a good financial advisor to help you manage the financial side of your business.

Let’s talk about your upcoming book or project. I’d love to partner with you—your words and ideas, enhanced.
