I'm an award-winning writer of 9 books and numerous published short stories and editor or co-editor of three anthologies. I'm also the publisher at Queen of Swords Press, a Minneapolis-based publisher of genre fiction books. I currently teach classes on writing-related topics and anthology editing at Nebula Award-winning writer Cat Rambo's online workshop forum, the Rambo Academy, and at Springboard for the Arts and Broad Universe (an organization for women writers of science fiction and fantasy). I have also taught writing classes at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. In addition, my IT background  includes writing training documentation, reports and other technical documents as well as working with different software applications in such industries as healthcare and retail and I earned my CPPM certification in project management from the University of St. Thomas in 2020. My public speaking background includes presentations and panels at venues ranging from tech conferences to literary festivals and science fiction conventions. I also have four years of experience in writing ad and marketing copy for Queen of Swords Press titles, our website, our newsletter and other related promotional material.
