Over my thirteen-year career as a communications professional, I have written and edited and formatted a wide range of materials, including technical academic papers, promotional marketing materials, blogs, and business publications for both print and web publication. Each of these projects required a different level of writing and editing. I have worked with academic authors who aimed for everything between a conversational journal article and a formal dissertation. What sets me apart from other editors is my additional public speaking and interviewing experience, which enables me to both relay and gather information to and from stakeholders.
I am highly proficient in both Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Acrobat). During my tenure as a Book Editor at ClickFunnels, I developed time-saving Word macros, a house style guide for PerfectIt, and a database of TextExpander snippets to streamline the writing and editing process.
