I have a BA in English – Professional Writing from the University of St. Thomas. I have completed scholarly projects under the direction of a past professor. I completed copyediting on two different projects and have done work as a research assistant for the third. One of the copyediting projects consisted of comparing the original manuscript to the digital document, ensuring Victorian spelling is honored. When working with my professor, I had to be flexible on switching publishing house style books.

Two of the projects are in the process of being published.

During my studies, I also completed courses for a minor in journalism and gained a thorough knowledge of the Associated press style.

In my spare time, I read advanced reader copies and offer editing notes for my indie author friends. My main genre is romance and am familiar with popular trends in authors and sub-genres.

My specialties are line editing, copyediting, and proofreading.

I have experience with Microsoft Suite, Adobe software, and using online archives for research.
