I repurposed my intense devotion to detail from life as an attorney to my current career as a proofreader and copyeditor. For sixteen years, I used my eagle eyes to protect a complex, multistate healthcare system. I bring the same dedication to fine-tuning your print and electronic documents.

My lifelong experience of spotting errors, even when I’m not looking for them, became the catalyst for launching my company, The Document Detailer LLC, in 2021. Yes, I started a company during a pandemic. I am drawn to working with small businesses and entrepreneurs, where decisions are made by one person or a small group, instead of a committee agonizing over every word. That’s my job.

Scope of Work: I review company policies, manuals, annual reports, press releases, social media content, websites, and blogs. Target clients: entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Hobbies: Jigsaw puzzles (up to 40,000 pieces), classic rock, and finding outlets for my dry humor.
