Hi! I’m Linda, and my job is to help your thoughts and words be the best they can be so your message is clear, attractive, and successfully reaches your intended audience. I am a non-fiction manuscript editor skilled in all facets of publishing: writing, developmental editing, line editing, copy-editing, with an extensive knowledge of self-publishing, book marketing, networking, and using social media as a tool to create awareness about your work.
My specialty is memoir (historical, family, medical, professional, travel, spiritual, cultural), cookbooks and the reviews of Spanish translations. My clients include first-time authors, indie authors, ghostwriters, and indie as well as traditional publishing houses. I enjoy working both on my own and with editorial teams, contributing valuable content and ideas to my client’s projects. When I’m not editing, you’ll find me out in nature (my second home) weeding my vegetable garden, taking pictures of flowers, caterpillars or landscapes and baking home-made bread.
I'm also the co-author of Networking for Freelance Editors, Networking for Writers, and Stepping Into Rural Wisconsin (memoir).
