Hi! I’m Linda, and my job is to help your thoughts and words be the best they can be so your message is clear, attractive, and successfully reaches your intended audience. I am a non-fiction manuscript editor skilled in all facets of publishing: writing, developmental editing, line editing, copy-editing, self-publishing, marketing, virtual book tours, and using social media to create awareness about your work.
My specialty is memoir (historical, family, medical, professional, travel, spiritual, cultural), cookbooks and gardening books. My clients include first-time authors, experienced writers, ghostwriters, and publishing houses. I enjoy working both on my own and with editorial teams, contributing valuable content and ideas to my client’s projects. When I’m not editing, you’ll find me out in nature (my second home) weeding my vegetable garden, taking pictures of flowers, caterpillars or landscapes and baking bread.
I'm also the co-author of Networking for Freelance Editors and Stepping Into Rural Wisconsin (memoir).
