I am a copy editor with over a decade of international professional editing experience working with native English as well as international/ESL scholars and students. I edit academic and nonfiction books, chapters, journal articles, and dissertations. I currently work on a freelance or contracted basis for several leading universities and academic editing companies that include Groningen University (the Netherlands), the European University Institute (Florence, Italy), Charlesworth Author Services (the United Kingdom), Edanz Editing Group (Japan and China), and Uni-Edit (Taiwan and Hong Kong). I have also edited theses and dissertations written by students who attended several other European and American Universities, for example, Utrecht University and  the International Institute of Social Studies (the Netherlands), Neuchatel University (Switzerland), University of Athens (Greece), University of Giessen (Germany), and Walden University (the United States).

I edit across diverse disciplines in the social sciences and the humanities and have also edited several works in the fields of environmental studies, life sciences, and medical sciences. In addition to editing academic journal articles, scholarly books, and dissertations, I edit all types of nonfiction, including reports, policy briefs, and workshop proceedings and provide other author services such as content review and writing support, help with drafting university admission letters (content support and editing) and grant proposal development. I am proficient in the use of the Chicago Manual of Style and the Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA). I edit electronically using Microsoft Word.
