I was always supposed to be a book coach.

My whole life has been about words. From the time I could read, I was the one who had the flashlight under the covers with my nose in a book when I was supposed to be sleeping. I burned dinner and stayed up till 4 a.m., and then there was the time I forgot to pick my son up from basketball practice because I was so involved in a great book.

This passion for literature led me to pursue a degree in English in college, which in turn led to a career in news media, journalism, and education.

I’ve wanted to work directly with authors the whole time, though.

In 2000, I answered that call and dedicated myself to coaching authors and editing manuscripts. Since then, several of my authors have become Amazon Bestsellers. I take pride in helping stories be told with clarity, coherence, and captivating charm.
