Publisher/Freelancer Social Hour

The Minnesota Book Publishers Roundtable and the Professional Editors Network are joining forces for an in-person happy hour! Whether you’re working in-house or freelance or are just interested in the publishing industry, join us to socialize and network. We welcome editors, proofreaders, publishers, writers, agents, indexers, marketers, designers, illustrators, production managers, and anyone else in the publishing orbit. You do not need to be a member of PEN or MBPR to attend.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we will meet outside, weather permitting. We ask that unvaccinated attendees wear masks when not actively eating or drinking, and we encourage vaccinated attendees who prefer to mask up to do so. If you are experiencing symptoms of illness, or if you have been exposed to someone known or suspected to have COVID-19, please protect those around you by staying home

Nonalcoholic options are available. Light appetizers will be provided. See the Lake Monster website for the drink list and food truck schedule.
