Attend the Virtual 2020 Twin Cities Book Festival

It’s October, which in any other year would mean we’d be heading to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds for the Twin Cities Book Festival. While we aren’t meeting in person because of the pandemic, the 2020 festival is still happening virtually October 15–17!

The Professional Editors Network is part of the virtual exhibitor hall, which goes live on October 15 with information on all participating organizations. You’ll also be hearing about us on Rain Taxi‘s social media channels over the course of the festival. (In addition to the annual TCBF and a quarterly print magazine, Rain Taxi is the home of the one-stop Twin Cities Literary Calendar, of which PEN is a proud sponsor.)

And of course, this wouldn’t be the Twin Cities Book Festival without author presentations. This year’s featured authors include Chantel Acevdo, Kwame Alexander, Ayad Akhtar, Derf Backderf, and so many more. Click the button below to view all the readings and other virtual events you can attend.

Last but not least, we’ve taken the new-member drawing we traditionally hold at the festival online, too: if you’re not yet a PEN member, this is your chance to get your first year of membership for free! Starting October 15, you can enter below with your name and email—and, if you like, earn bonus entries by visiting or following us on social media or sharing the giveaway with other people. We’ll select two winners during the course of the festival!
